The agency is located at 4301 Grand Prix Drive in Logansport, Indiana and serves farmers across the state, primarily in northern and central Indiana.

About Our Founders & Staff
Dick Sims started the Agency in 1953 selling hail insurance only and still consults with the Agency. In retirement, Dick enjoys cycling, golf, grandkids, food bank, church volunteering and traveling.
Ann Sims previously served as office manager. Her retirement interests mirror Dick's, but also include much nursing home visitation and gardening.
Steve Sims, President/Agent became a licensed agent and crop adjuster, joining the Agency in 1980. He assumed the role of President in 2001. Steve is active in the church and community, formerly serving as President of the Cass County Council. He is now active on various boards. He was instrumental in establishing Logansport’s annual 2 Rivers on 2 Wheels ( 2riverson2wheels.org ) Bike Tour in 2009 in conjunction with the Cass County Family YMCA. He enjoys cycling, swimming, running, wake-surfing and traveling.
Curt Maxson, Agent came on board in January 2008. He has proved to be a quick study and is now very well versed in all aspects of the crop insurance industry. His other duties include spearheading our customer mapping initiative and has mapped over 158,000 acres as of Jan. 2009.
Dave Calisto, Agent joined the agency in December 2010. He is a Logansport native who began his insurance career in 1986 after attending Ball State University and IU Kokomo. He serves on several local boards. Dave & his wife Natalie have 4 children. His hobbies include coaching youth sports, running and music.
Mike Silver, Agent/Grain Marketing Specialist grew up on a farm In Tippecanoe County and has been involved in agribusiness his entire life. A licensed crop insurance agent, his full time job is grain merchandiser at Kokomo Grain. He has been affiliated with our agency for many years presenting marketing seminars and now services many existing clients. He looks forward to using his expertise to help new clients as well.
Drew Farrer, Agent is a 2001 Pioneer High School graduate. He attended Joliet Jr. College, where he judged livestock for two years. In 2007 Drew graduated from Purdue University, where he earned his degree in Animal Agribusiness. Drew and his wife Stacy , an elementary school teacher, have 1 son who was born in early 2012. They are members of Crosswind United Methodist Church in Logansport. Drew has five years experience as a Crop Insurance agent and is also an Associate Sales Rep. for Crimmins Seed Sales and looks forward to working with area farmers for seed and risk management needs.
Scott Rush, Agent Growing up in agriculture, Scott learned early on about the values of hard work, family, and trust. He is a Purdue Ag Systems Mgmt. graduate and member of the AGR Fraternity. Scott spent much of his childhood riding with his Dad to visit farmers and today he continues to enjoy working with farmers across the state of Indiana. He lives near Logansport with his wife, Denise, and their two children, Cole and Hope.
Haley Samuelson, Agent/Marketing started at the agency in November of 2015. She grew up in Tippecanoe County and graduated from Saint Mary's College in 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies. She has lived in Logansport since 2012 and enjoys getting to know the community in which she serves.
Heide Sims, Vice President/IT/Accounting consults and develops database applications and computer software as needed by the agency.
